I HATE running.
But I had an "AHA" moment.
As Oprah would say.
My usual excuse is "I don't feel like it" or "the weather is bad" or "not today"
And then I realized...
I NEVER feel like it.
The sun could be shining,
birds singing,
perfect weather,
I'd still NEVER say... I feel like running today!
So since there will never be a perfect day... I'm just gonna do it!

Why can't sitting on your couch looking at Pinterest be good exercise?
I'd be ridiculously in shape.


YEAH!...I started power walking about 2 yrs ago....I love it....it does get easier the more you do it....Plus in the process I lost 30 lbs and got back down to my college weight...big plus! Now when I tell people I have 4 kids, I don't feel like they are thinking "I can tell"...HAHA! Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean & you're right, there's never going to be a good time. You just have to do it. I feel amazing now so it's not as hard to make myself do it.
